About

About EVERYTHING MUST GO!
The name of this site is obviously borrowed from the age-old quick-sales catchphrase, but along with focusing the theme of marketing, hopes to suggest that our views of the world contain many intuitions that perhaps are no longer true, or which are in dire need of reassessment— beliefs that “must go”, so to speak. As times change, so too do economics, commerce, society, and our attitudes.

EVERYTHING MUST GO! hopes to examines the many issues surrounding commerce, marketing, business, politics, and economics, and how they govern the way people interact with the world around them. It attempts to dissect the conflicting, competing, and complementary aspects of sociological and psychological, progressive and conservative, micro and macro, and spiritual and material, and tries to provide a better understanding of ourselves, the engine of commerce, and how we can sustain ourselves and our planet for the future.

This site is a call for us to make every effort to understand our world from an impartial, unbiased, non-partisan point of view; the way a party with no vested interests might assess things. Hopefully that these lofty ideals can be conveyed with rigor, humor, and insight. We also welcome your comments, arguments, and challenges for any of the articles you might read.
